DooZed policies
Privacy Policy
This Policy describes how DooZed handles information when you browse, create an account, list a watercraft, or communicate through the marketplace.
Effective September 14, 2026
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use DooZed, we may collect:
- Account details such as name, email address, authentication identifiers, and communication preferences.
- Listing details such as public market, watercraft information, pricing, availability, photos, rules, and owner supplied descriptions.
- Private operational details such as exact pickup address, dock coordinates, access instructions, and owner account identifiers.
- Inquiry, message, booking, cancellation, review, moderation, and support records.
- Identity or eligibility status, provider session identifiers, and completion milestones. DooZed is designed to store eligibility results rather than identity documents or full birth dates.
- Payment and payout status, transaction identifiers, and connected account status. Payment providers handle payment account details under their own policies.
- Device, request, security, and first party activity information such as pages viewed, listing or market viewed, referral channel, browser data, and approximate network information.
2. How we collect information
We collect information from you, from other users involved in a transaction, automatically when you use the service, and from providers you choose to use with DooZed, such as Google for sign in or Stripe for identity, payment, and payout services when those features are available.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide accounts, listings, discovery, inquiries, messages, bookings, and owner tools.
- Verify eligibility, support payments and payouts, and maintain transaction records.
- Communicate about accounts, inquiries, bookings, safety, policy changes, and support requests.
- Protect users, investigate abuse, moderate content, prevent fraud, and secure the service.
- Measure service use, improve features, troubleshoot problems, and understand marketplace demand.
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose information:
- To owners and renters when needed to evaluate an inquiry, arrange a rental, communicate, or complete a transaction.
- To service providers that support hosting, storage, authentication, email, identity, payment, payout, security, and analytics functions. Current providers may include Cloudflare, Google, Resend, and Stripe.
- To professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, or protection of rights.
- As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- With your direction or consent.
DooZed does not sell personal information or share it for cross context behavioral advertising based on current practices.
5. Public information
Published listing descriptions, public markets, watercraft details, photos, owner supplied public introductions, and reviews may be visible to visitors and search engines. Do not publish exact dock access details, private contact information, or other sensitive information in public fields.
6. Cookies and first party measurement
DooZed uses cookies and similar storage needed for sign in, session security, request integrity, and core service functions. We also use first party activity records to understand page and listing engagement. Current public page view records are designed around aggregate page, market, category, craft, and referral dimensions rather than a named visitor profile.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain transaction and safety records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and protect the marketplace. Retention periods vary by record type. We may delete or deidentify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your account and contact us if you believe it has been compromised.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
You may update available account settings and choose whether to provide optional information. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, and to appeal or opt out of certain uses. You may also have a right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.
To submit a privacy request, email info@seansanjose.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Describe the request and the account email involved. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. Legal exceptions may apply.
10. California and Nevada notices
California and Nevada residents may have additional rights under applicable state law. The categories of information, purposes, disclosures, retention approach, and request method above are intended to provide the relevant notice. DooZed does not currently sell covered information as that term is defined by Nevada privacy law.
11. Children
DooZed is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the matter.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the service or law changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice for material changes when required.
13. Contact
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to info@seansanjose.com.
